The Process

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

At CNI, your wellness journey is structured, methodical, measurable, and geared toward independence. We’re not looking for lifetime customers, who continue to have to come back for sessions week after week with no end in sight. Our goal is to provide the skills and the techniques that put you firmly in control. Here’s how we do that.

Step 1: Intake & Baseline Assessment

We begin by establishing a clear, measurable baseline of how your nervous system is functioning today. This includes identifying symptoms and triggers at a physiological level — not just how things feel, but how your nervous system is responding.

This baseline allows us to set realistic goals, track meaningful change, and build a plan grounded in where you actually are and where you want to be functioning.

Step 2: Neuropsychoeducation and Guided Regulation Sessions

Gathering from step 1 we help you understand why and how you got where you are functioning now. This will help you further understand your symptoms. This isn’t about talk therapy centered around recounting or reliving your past traumatic experiences, it is about understanding why your nervous system is responding in ways you do not want it to. We will help you learn how your biology is reacting under stress, how to recognize the triggers (while aware of the causes), what to do to stabilize faster, and how to condition your nervous system to create new patterns which do not repeat the patterns you do not want. These skills will not only help you gain control over your symptoms and prevent setbacks, these skills will also teach you how to condition your nervous system to function without your past defining your future.

You’ll work one-on-one with a highly trained clinician in a guided session that includes cognitive coaching and neurofeedback-based training along with the introduction of breath and sensory regulation techniques facilitated through biofeedback technology.

These sessions are structured, interactive, and measurable. Many clients notice early changes in regulation, recovery, and reactivity — but this step is not about a single result. It is the beginning of the conditioning process allowing our systems and professionals to observe how each individual nervous system responds, so adjustments can be made to improve precision and support lasting change. This is a brainwave driven therapeutic process that constantly adjusts to your journey.

Step 3: Progress Assessment and Reassessment

At defined intervals, we reassess progress using the same structured measures established at intake. This allows us to track improvement, reinforce learned skills, identify remaining pattern disruptions, and adjust the process properly.

Step 4:   Maintenance and Ongoing Support

Once core patterns have been retrained, we help you transition into a maintenance phase designed to support stability and confidence beyond the clinic. This may include optional tools for self-awareness, continued skill practice, and occasional check-ins as needed.

The intention is simple: to help regulation remain steady as you move forward independently.
